30 minutes: $25.00 – $35.00 CAD
45 minutes: $35.00 – $48.00 CAD
60 minutes: $50.00 – $70.00 CAD
The price of violin lessons in Toronto varies from teacher to teacher and depends on the lesson length.
What is a good age to learn violin?
Any age above 3 or 4 years old.
Can I learn violin at 30?
Definitely, and you can get very good at it too! Studies haven proven that the human brain continues to be plastic into adulthood, therefore it is possible to learn the violin as an adult. You should not expect to have a career in violin if you start later, but you can certainly develop your skills to a high level if you wish.
Is violin difficult to learn?
Not with a good Musiprof teacher! In all seriousness, though, different students have different experiences; different students will find different techniques on the same instrument easier or harder to do. But it’s the role of the teacher to teach in a way that reduces all difficulties as much as possible.
How long should you practice violin a day?
It depends on the goals of the student. A hobby violinist can make progress that they’re happy with with only 30 minutes of daily practice, whereas an aspiring professional might have to practice 2-5 hours per day. It also depends on the level of the student. Â
In this respect, practice is like exercise. Beginners should start slowly, intermediate players should do more, and experienced players should do much more.
