What You'll Learn

* Online Lessons, in-person lessons at students' homes, FREE twice a year recitals on a Steinway Grand Piano - Students often want to learn pop songs which I also teach them to play. Sometimes they find songs from youtube videos or from school, or old songs they already know and I convert them into a simple melody that they can play on the piano. - I focus both on the enjoyment and fun aspect of learning piano as well as technical competencies such as proper techniques, note reading, rhythm training, ear training and sight reading. - Initially, I was trained to teach by Edward Parker, the first teacher of three Canadian Concert pianists and also by passing the piano teaching exams (not piano performing exams) at the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). Now, I modify my teaching method for the students' natural aptitude, personality and reason for learning the piano. - I have taught at a wide range of settings. From second generation studio, to exclusive sports country club to students' homes.
