Maria Fedyushina is a Montreal-based piano teacher and collaboratist from Vancouver. She has completed her Bachelor of Music Performance and certifications in Piano Pedagogy, Ethnomusicology, and Music Therapy at the University of Toronto, studying under the late Marietta Orlov and Megan Chang. Furthermore, Maria was a finalist in Canadian Music Festival, and Ontario Music Festival, and has performed in the Orpheum and Carnegie Hall. Maria actively performs in festivals and masterclasses, collaborating in Hamilton Conservatory’s Vocal Masterclass taught by Adrianne Pieczonka and Robert Kortgaard and participating in Masterclasses by Ingolf Wunder and Krzysztof Jablonski. Maria is currently a piano performance Master's student, studying with Marina Mdivani.

As a dedicated piano teacher focused on classical music, my aim is to provide students with a holistic musical education. I share my extensive knowledge of classical piano pieces, techniques, and theory to help them with their musical goals, to examinations for RCM or simply learning for pleasure. I encourage patience and discipline while nurturing a profound appreciation for the historical and artistic dimensions of classical music. Additionally, I believe in fostering empathy and compassion as a teacher, and tailor my guidance to each student's unique needs to help them grow as well-rounded musicians.
