Embarked on my drumming journey in 7th grade, now boasting over a decade of experience. With 7 years of performance, including 4 years as an alternative rock band drummer, and 2 years of teaching, I currently instruct at two Canadian institutes: Hanway Music.

Our drumming adventure kicks off by building a solid foundation! We'll delve into the anatomy of the drum set, learning the names of each component and how they work together. Mastering drum terminology will equip you to understand drumming sheet music and communicate effectively with other musicians. Next, we'll focus on developing proper posture and grip techniques. This ensures not only comfort but also power, control, and the ability to play for extended periods without fatigue. With these fundamentals in place, you'll be ready to tackle the exciting world of rhythm and groove!
