Eamon V. — Drum Teacher — Rosemont, Montreal

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, I have been living, playing, performing and recording in Montreal for the past 6 years. I have been playing and studying the drums for over 18 years and am lucky enough to work in the music industry full time. I have experience studying, performing, recording and composing in musical settings that include, pop/rock, funk, jazz, metal, punk, Latin, and experimental music. I have had the incredible opportunity to study with Grammy nominated and award winning musicians such as John Hollenbeck and Darrell Green. The mentorship and passion they have given and shared with me is one of the driving factors in my passion for teaching, connecting and giving back to the musical community.

In my lessons I create a welcoming, holistic and collaborative learning environment. As someone who has been studying and performing music privately and in post-secondary for more than 18 years, I understand the importance of connecting with the interests and passions of my students so that you are motivated and excited to play, practice, perform and most importantly have fun! My lessons focus on playing time, technique, soloing and playing with other musicians, tailored to the style you are most interested in. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from 5-60+ years old and of all experience levels. I love the opportunity to connect with students of different ages, backgrounds and interests.
