For 15 years, David Richards has helped the beginner, intermediate and pro musician, create practice steps for drum concepts so that they can become successful, working drummers/musicians. Hailing from the Caribbean island of Trinidad & Tobago, David has travelled around the world playing music alongside reputable artists from his home country and abroad, at various jazz and music festivals such as Barbados Jazz Festival, St. Lucia Jazz Festival, Ottawa Blues Fest. and many more. David moved to Toronto, Canada to study under some of Canada's best musicians at Humber College, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Music. Some of his noteworthy teachers included world-renowned drummers Larnell Lewis & Mark Kelso. His work at Humber and musical talent allowed him to earn many awards. David is currently active in the music scene in Toronto, playing with some of the city's best musicians and artists. He has also worked at some of the top music schools in the Greater Toronto Area and has recently launched a YouTube online teaching series - D Drum Corner.
