Brooke S. — Online Singing Teacher

I spent my childhood watching music videos, listening to music all day long and attending my own dance and music lessons. The moment I knew I wanted to have a career in music and become an artist was when I was 7 years old on the couch with my dancing friends watching Britney Spears 2002 concert “Dream Within A Dream’. I started private singing lessons when I was 7 years old, but my Mum noticed I had an ear and the heart for the voice and performing. I have been performing on stage from the age of 2 years old and it’s still my favourite thing to do till this day. I have had the pleasure of being chosen and featured to perform and sing on Disney Channel, place 5th on The X Factor Australia, where I was mentored by The Spice Girls very own Scary Spice ‘Mel B’. I have performed at numerous festivals and along side artists such as Ashton Merrygold, Justice Crew, Isaiah Firebrace and Little Mix. Since coming to Toronto, Canada I have found my love for creating and songwriting and have been writing and releasing original music and have also had the amazing opportunity of standing proud on the Blue Jay’s field singing the Canadian and American anthems. I have completed all CPM Vocal examinations with a distinction, along with my Musicianship and Piano examinations with distinction and honours with distinction. As for my studies, I studied at The McDonald College of Performing Arts College where my major focus was Music and Musical Theatre and did my private tuition for vocals with many different vocal teachers where I have learnt so much from.

I have been doing private singing lessons since I was 7 years old and dancing since I was 2 years old. So performing arts has been in my blood from a young age. I went to a private performing arts high school where I studied Musical Theatre and Music. I have completed all my CPM Australia vocal examinations. I have a lot of performing experience ( over 25 years of experience). I was lucky enough to place 5th on The X Factor Australia with my girl group BEATZ, which has led to many opportunities. I also am a songwriter and artist, so Im always songwriting and performing. Music has been part of my life ever since I was a little girl. I live, love and breath it. It’s such an important part of life and is everywhere, whether we know it or not. It’s on the streets, in conversations, in our minds, in the chirps of the birds and in our heart beats. Teaching music enhances what already exists in us, but elevates it to a whole new world. I promise you, you’ll fall in love with music, melodies, instrumentation and performing. I ensure you that you will feel relaxed and excited to come and learn every lesson you have with me. No matter what age you are or you ability level, we will have so much fun learning the ins and outs of music.
