Hello! My name is Alona Mylanych and I am a piano teacher. I grew up in a musical family surrounded by classical and folk music. My mother was a professional musician and guitar teacher who inspired me to play and study music. I started playing the piano at the age of 6 and since then it has become my passion. After school, I decided to pursue a career in music and I began my study in Ukraine. I have three degrees, masters, bachelor, and specialist from Ukraine in Music Art, Ethics, Esthetics: Piano Teacher, Concertmaster, and Ensemble Performance. I have been teaching piano for the past 13 years, and during that time I have worked with students from all ages, levels and backgrounds. I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to helping my students reach their full potential. I utilize a variety of teaching methods and techniques to ensure that each student learns in a way that best suits their individual needs. As a teacher I want my students to be happy after every lesson, that's why I try to find ways to build effective practice habits, coach them on excellent technique, and music analysis and appreciation.
