I teach piano, violin and theory. The instrumental lessons are divided into two parts, strengthening techniques and building repertoires. Students are asked to play scales and etudes in the first half of the lessons, which benefits finger dexterity and consistent fingerings. After that, they attempt a variety of pieces based on their goals, interests and abilities. Students may strive for exams or enjoy the music by their favorite composers. The theory lessons consist of numerous topics, such as rhythm, harmony and intervals, according to the levels of theory exams. Students are encouraged to complete exercises and past exam questions in order to consolidate the knowledge.
