About

I am a classical violinist, violin and piano teacher, and a singer-songwriter. I have performed solo, as part of chamber ensembles, and in an orchestral setting in recital halls and venues in Québec and Ontario. I have taught in public and private schools in Montréal and the South Shore. With a bent for improvisation, I teach and play classical, folk and jazz repertoire. I love creating a rapport with a student so they may flourish artistically. I have a lot of experience teaching elementary and secondary school aged children.

What You'll Learn

Violin lessons: A run through scales and arpeggios. Classical, folk, and Suzuki method repertoire. Emphasis on expressiveness and musicality. Note reading, solfège and ear training are learned. Memorization exercises and eventual improvisation on instrument.
