About

I am a classical violinist, violin and piano teacher, and a singer-songwriter. I have performed solo, as part of chamber ensembles, and in an orchestral setting in recital halls and venues across Québec and Ontario. I have taught in public and private schools in Montréal and the South Shore. With a bent for improvisation, I teach and play classical and folkloric repertoire. I love creating a rapport with a student so that they may flourish artistically. I have a lot of experience teaching elementary and secondary school aged children.

What You'll Learn

Violin lessons: A run through scales and arpeggios. Classical, folk, and Suzuki method repertoire. Emphasis on expressiveness and musicality. Note reading, solfège and ear training are learned. Memorization exercises and eventual improvisation on instrument.

We are very happy with the kid's violin teacher. He is patient, kind, and very professional. He explains things clearly and always encourages the kid to do her best. We have seen a lot of improvement in playing, and she has become more confident and enjoys learning the violin. We really appreciate his dedication and the positive learning environment he creates. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful violin teacher!
