I am a big believer in theory application while learning an instrument as it is the bridge between desire and execution. Through my lessons I like to put an emphasis on this early on and get students in the habit of trying to understand what is being played and heard, and eventually, you won't even have to think about it! Most importantly, we'll make it fun and easy to digest! Lessons are tailored to the needs and desires of the individual, whether it's learning songs you like, exploring new genres (funk, pop, hiphop, RnB, jazz, blues, rock), learning theory, music production, songwriting, or mixing, we can cover it all!
