Nicole M. — French Horn Teacher — Jane and Finch, Toronto

Nicole Ma is currently the fourth horn of Vancouver Opera. She started learning the french horn at the age of 6, and before joining the Opera she was the third horn of Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. As an active orchestral player, some of Nicole's other recent engagements include playing with the National Ballet of Canada, Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, London Symphony Orchestra and the Brott Music Festival.

I offer lessons for french horn, trumpet, piano and music theory. I have much experience teaching students of different levels and ages, and I am always happy to work with students on whatever that interest them in music. I think that music is a universal language where one is allowed to freely express themselves and bring joy to others. I will work as a bridge to teach them how to express themselves through their instruments. My lessons will always be relaxing and fun, and students should feel fulfilled after each of them.
