Lysiane L. — Online Singing Teacher

An artist at heart for as long as I can remember, my passion for singing began at a very young age. After exploring various instruments, musical theatre, Gospel, and drama, I continued my journey at university, studying opera, somatic education, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and vocal pedagogy. I began my college studies in pop-jazz at Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy, then moved on to Université Laval where I completed two master's degrees in classical singing (performance and vocal pedagogy), all while continuing to sing and teach pop and musical theatre. I also completed an advanced training internship at the Gnessin Academy in Moscow before beginning a doctorate in Arts Studies and Practices at UQAM, where I conducted in-depth research on singing, teaching, and performance. A vocal coach for over 18 years, I created my own teaching approach called Embody-Voice, which combines physiology, vocal technique, somatic education, neuroscience, and cognitive psychology. In addition to my private teaching practice, I teach singing and musical theatre at Cégep de Lévis, where I also serve as the musical director for the theatre troupe. I regularly participate in fairs, conferences, and symposiums to share my knowledge and connect with others. It is my pleasure today to share my talents and passions with you, helping you move forward no matter where you are in your vocal journey. I offer private lessons during weekdays, both in person and remotely. I will follow your specific goals to take you wherever your voice wants to go. Looking forward to meeting you!

I offer classical, pop, and musical theatre singing lessons for adolescent and adult students of all levels. I can also teach music theory and I truly enjoy working with singer-songwriters. I have developed my own approach called Embody-Voice, which focuses on body awareness and the natural voice. I also help students prepare for Cégep and university auditions. I am available during the day on weekdays.
