Louis-Martin is a multi-instrumentalist who has been active on Quebec’s indie pop and jazz scene for nearly ten years. He is a member of several Montreal-based ensembles, including Greenhouse Ensemble and First Circle – hommage au Pat Metheny Group. His career has led him to perform in numerous venues and festivals across Quebec and Canada, including the Festival international de jazz de Montréal, Bourgie Hall, the Festi jazz de Rimouski, and the TU Jazz Festival. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance, a minor in Jazz Composition, and a Master’s degree in Music (Jazz Performance and Composition) from the Université de Montréal. Louis-Martin’s goal is to share the joy of playing through his teaching. He offers guidance tailored to his students’ needs, rooted in listening, kindness, and a passion for music.
