Hello! I am a guitar player originally from Wellington, New Zealand. During and after graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the New Zealand School of Music I spent my time gigging in a variety of situations from big band to solo and also teaching music. Now based in Vancouver I am continuing musical life forever looking forward to the next gig or student. I am a lover of so many musical traditions and styles from around the world but at this point in life, instrumental music and jazz make up the better part of my personal studies. Aside from this I have experience playing in indie/rock and folk bands and some classical training and performing from a younger age.

Anywhere from focusing on and breaking down a particular song to in-depth guidance in mastering a certain technique. Developing ones senses in a range of areas - Transcribing, rhythmic techniques, song/piece learning, harmonic understanding, scale knowledge, compositional methods, are all things I've delved deep into and can share my knowledge and experience in. I aim to make each lesson as interesting and helpful to you as I can!
