About

Passionate about acoustic guitar, Jérémie draws inspiration from legends such as Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, and Buster B. Jones. He has developed a unique style rooted in the fingerstyle tradition. Holder of a college diploma in acoustic guitar performance from Cégep Marie-Victorin and a bachelor’s degree in music composition from the University of Montreal, he has been composing and arranging music for acoustic guitar while maintaining an online presence for the past five years. His first album, *Uphill*, released in October 2023, earned him the 2025 *Solo Instrumentalist of the Year* award at the *Canadian Folk Music Awards*.
