Isaac has been the best companion I would have found in my piano and music journey. He's a teacher, mentor, guide and friend rolled into one, and he moves seamlessly from theory to practical tricks that actually work at the keyboard. His ear is incredibly sharp, catching things I'd never notice myself. Despite living across the pond ( I am based in the UK) it never feels like there's any distance at all. Absolutely Top Class !

Isaac is a wonderful, compassionate and patient teacher. I worked with him for about 3.5 years before stopping due to a very busy personal schedule. During our time, he really helped me improve in ear training, original composition and noodling. We even ventured into a bit of jazz since he's trained in that! What I appreciated most was his patience in explaining concepts and listening to me stumble when playing. He never made me feel foolish and I had no need to be self-conscious :)

I’ve been taking class with Isaac for a few years now and as an amateur pianist trained in classical who seeked a different approach to the instrument, I made great improvements thanks to his jazz piano class ! I’ve learned a lot about harmony, voicings and improvisation. We apply all thoses concepts when working together on jazz standards : analyze of the chord progression, re-harmonizing if necessary, « composing » a way to play the lead sheet with nice voicings and working several weeks on improvisation. We also work on transcribing solos to highlight phrases or concepts to use. Feedback from Isaac is very valuable, now I play in a jazz band and can go to local jam sessions. Highly recommend !

Isaac has been giving piano lessons to my teenage son for 4 years. Isaac is excellent at teaching as well as adapting to my son's level and music preferences. They have been discovering different types of music together, from classical to jazz. And, very importantly, they get along well. I highly recommend Isaac as a piano teacher. He's a big part of why my son wants to continue taking lessons!

Isaac is a wonderful teacher. He is patient, and very considerate. His implication towards my child’s musical development is exceptional. What we particularly appreciate is his ability to Adapt his teaching techniques to our son’s personality. He manages to reach out to the best in my son and communicates with him exceptionally well. Beyond weekly lessons, he is deeply committed to his students’ long-term success, guiding them through Royal Conservatory examinations at various levels and supporting their musical development every step of the way. We feel very fortunate to have found such a dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring teacher. We highly recommend Isaac to any parent looking for a piano teacher who truly invests in their students’ growth and success.

Fine teacher with good heart and patience. I've been learning on-line Jazz Piano Improvisation from him for about three months so far, and I've been enjoying it. He encourages me to try improvisations even though I did awkwardly, and gives me precise information about the theories, etc. Another good point is he uses his own materials, which I think very practical. I can recommend him if you are looking for a good practical Jazz Piano Teacher.
