Hana L. — Piano Teacher — Rosedale, Toronto

My name is Hana, and I am in my fourth and final year at the University of Western Ontario at the Don Wright Faculty of Music. I am doing an honours specialization in Music Research with a primary focus in Music Theory. My primary instrument is piano and I have been tutoring/teaching piano on and off for about 9 years. I have my level 10 in RCM piano and level 9 in history and harmony. I also have been playing flute since around 10 years old and the piccolo since around the age of 13. I have worked with a wide range of students varying from 4th graders to adults in their mid 50s. I look forward to working with you all!

I specialize in teaching piano through both the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and Suzuki methods, adapting each curriculum to suit the unique needs and learning styles of students. I focus on developing solid technical skills, musicality, and a deep understanding of music theory, while also fostering a love for performance. I am also very into music theory and can help with the RCM curriculum with theory, harmony and history where necessary.
