Denis F. — Guitar Teacher — Verdun, Montreal

Singer-songwriter, he is a guitarist and singer in the group La Maison H. (2019 Orchidée, 2022 L’épilogue). He is also a founding member of the musical project SAS-31 (2003, Au jardin de la maison H. and 2006, Invertébré) and he took part in the first version of the group Villa Borghese between 2006 and 2008. Alongside his projects and his work as a guitar teacher, Denis has had a career as a guitarist and producer since 2003 which has led him to collaborate on stage and in the studio with many artists such as: Joseph Edgar, Daran, Jérôme Minière, Alexandre Belliard, Frédéric Giroux , Michel Faubert, Éric Bélanger, Gaële, Jipé Dalpé, David Marin, Geneviève Bilodeau, Bouleau Gagnon, Patrice Michaud, Catherine Durand, Geneviève Binette and many others.

1-Technique (Warm-ups, rhythm, scales, arpeggios, chords etc....) In each course we work on various technical aspects related to the instrument. 2-Songs One to three pieces are chosen to put into practice everything seen in the technical part. The pieces are always linked to the musical tastes of the student. 3-Improvisation Rhythmical and melodic improvisation techniques from beginner to advanced. 4-Others as needed: Music reading exercises Writing Coaching for Singer-Songwriters Equipment coaching: amps, guitar effects etc...
