About

Hello my name is Daniel Tatulli and I'm a Guitar & Keyboard Instructor. I currently work for the city of Toronto as a music teacher with students at multiple schools, plus online/privates. The way I usually teach my lessons is very structured based where if i have a student that wants to learn a song, I would give a demo of how to play it and than show it by breaking it down section by section and play it over and over again. Than after they get the main phrases I would move on to the other part of the song and repeat the process this well help them gain the knowledge of the song and would be easier to grasp the different parts/phrases. Aside from that, I also do al ot of video demos for my students, so they can have a reference of the song they are trying to learn and can go back and replay any parts missed. I find this really helpful because some licks or phrases in the song could be hard to remember that's why the video references are very important and students are more prone to visual learning and more easier for them to grasp and understand the concept more than on paper. Aisde from Guitar my secondary instrument is keyboarding and UKE. With Keyboard i can teach the basic notes, Scales, and chords and songs. If students want to learn specific songs whether it be online or from my current teaching books like "Piano adventures 1 or 2" I can provide all the material; teach them with the upmost information that they are needed to grasp and make it fun and exciting for them so they can be the best they can get at keyboarding. For Ukulele I can teach the basics such as Chords, Notes and scales and how to read musical notation and tabs and how to apply it to any piece they want to learn. By applying these basic concepts of the Ukulele it will help them learn and apply to any piece of music they want to learn. I'm looking forwar to teach more fellow students and really expanding my experience teaching other students and make them enjoy the beauty of music.
