Hello! My name is Christian. I am a guitar player in Montreal. I have contributed to many musical projects as a composer and as a player. These projects include the indie/alt rock band “Hey, what’s that?” and my improvisational jazz fusion trio “Phat Daphne”. As a teacher, my goal is to alleviate the frustration often associated with learning an instrument, by developing efficient, sustainable, and fun practice methods with my students. I have experience teaching students of all ages and levels of experience, and my students always make measurable progress.

Lessons typically begin with a left hand warm up and body awareness excercise to help get students in the right frame of mind to learn on the guitat. If a student has a specific song/peice they are working on, they will play it for me, and I will identify if anything can be worked on or improved. Once we have identified what the student needs to work on, we can develop exercises and techniques to help improve in these areas. This may vary depending on the students level.
