Hello, my name is Bryan and I offer free music lessons to help musicians of all levels discover their own unique sound. My lessons are tailored to the abilities and needs of each student. In my lessons, I address the following question: Why do we play music, and how can we find our own sound, our own music? Topics covered include: The relationship between technique and expression How to establish a creative flow while playing How and what to practice to find your own sound and achieve a balance between the intellectual and emotional aspects of music How to overcome creative blocks without anxiety or stress What is time in music and what are its effects (this section is based on the following quote): "In time, things seek to complete themselves. In the present, all things are complete." — Maurice Nicoll
