Bachelors Degree in Jazz – McGill University – Schulich School or Music DEC – Jazz Drum Set Performance – Vanier College Paulo has been drumming since the age of 11 and is a working musician. When he was 12, he won a first-place award at the Quebec-Ontario Music Festival and from then on, his drumming career began. Paulo is very well established in the Montreal hip hop, ska/ reggae and metal scene. He plays in many different projects, ranging from gospel to jazz to classical to ska to metal. He has toured Europe and Canada with a ska band on a label and has played music festivals all around Quebec, Ontario and in Calgary. He is a session drummer who appears on many recordings and who thrives to be a professional in the field. Paulo’s goal with teaching is to pass on his knowledge to drummers looking to learn and looking to expand their musical horizons.

Paulo is a versatile musician whose goal is to pass on what he has learn to drummers eager to learn. Whether the student is an advanced player or just starting out, Paulo can help clean up and solidify their playing so that can they master any musical situation. He has taught musicians of all ages and calibers, and has helped many drummers with their musical careers.
