**Education** I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Voice from the Université de Montréal, as well as a technical DEC in Popular Voice and a second pre-university DEC in Jazz Voice and Arrangement. Throughout my higher education, I was also trained as a classical, jazz, and pop pianist. As part of my Bachelor’s degree, I completed courses in stereo and studio recording, show production, and performance anxiety management. I have an exhaustive knowledge of the Estill Voice Training technique, which was taught to me throughout my university studies by Josée Caron, Bruno Fortier, and Hélène Martel. My passion for vocal technique has also led me to pursue extracurricular training in vocal injury rehabilitation (offered by speech-language pathologist Gabriel Provost) and on the different qualities of belting (masterclass by Samantha Crête-Poudrier). **Professional Experience** As a vocal performer, I have had the opportunity to perform at the Maison symphonique with the Jazz Chamber Orchestra conducted by Ron Di Lauro, to secure an understudy role in the musical Nelligan presented at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, and to win the "Chanson à chanter" award presented by Corneille as part of the Ma Première Place des Arts competition. My work as a composer and arranger has led to collaborations with various artists on the Quebec scene, including Raccoon, Emilie Buist, and Jam Khalil. I also had the chance to perform my original music at the 43rd edition of the Montreal International Jazz Festival. I am currently working on my first album of French-language music.
Hello everyone! If you are looking for support in... * ... reinterpreting your favorite songs/pieces; * ... developing your vocal technique (Estill approach) or piano technique, as well as your range and comfort; * ... accompanying your vocal performances on the piano; * ... recording and experimenting with your sound in the studio; * ... composing your own songs and lyrics; * ... preparing for an audition for CEGEP, university, or the professional world; * ... developing an improvisational language; * ... theoretical understanding of classical or jazz and ear training; ... I would be delighted to accompany you in your projects, however big and ambitious they may be! My teaching history includes students of all ages and levels. Although my studies are in jazz voice and piano, I find endless joy in experimenting with styles, from folk and classical to RnB/soul, rock, musical theater, and top 40 pop hits. As long as the repertoire sparks your interest and commitment, it is welcome in our lessons. I see music learning as a tool for experimentation, discovery, and self-improvement. I record the lessons (warm-ups and repertoire) and upload them to a shared folder to allow for retroactive listening and to reinforce the sense of progress. I also encourage my students to take risks, to be versatile in their choice of repertoire, to record demos, and to dive into composition regardless of their level. This is a proven way to develop their musical identity, but above all, to be amazed by their own abilities and creative potential. **N.B. I have two teaching studios: one at my home, located within walking distance of the Beaubien and Rosemont metro stations (Rosemont neighborhood), and a second in Anjou, depending on your preference. Both studios are equipped for recording!**
