What You'll Learn

Designed to provide a unique learning environment tailored to each student's skill set, musical interests, and goals. I offer a structured yet flexible approach, incorporating fundamental techniques, music theory, and repertoire building. As well as technical proficiency, I like to prioritize more than anything, the development of musical expression and creativity. I highlight the importance of finding your own musical voice, and encourage students to explore different genres, experiment with improvisation, and interpret songs in their own unique style. Throughout my curriculum, students will develop theory concepts such as scales, chord shapes, and rhythm, applicable to the genres of their choice. I use a combination of written materials, interactive exercises, and hands-on demonstrations to reinforce these concepts.
