A cellist for 17 years, and after obtaining my "Diplôme d’Études Musicales" (a diploma marking the completion of professional studies) at the Conservatoire de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, I went on to study for two years in Xavier Gagnepain's class at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Boulogne-Billancourt. Last year, I began my Bachelor’s degree in Performance at the University of Montreal’s Faculty of Music under the direction of Yegor Dyachkov. For the past two years, I worked for a recognized French home-tutoring organization, where I taught cello and music theory to students of various profiles (children, adults, etc.), and I have been teaching in Montreal through various organizations since last year. After completing my secondary piano studies with the highest honors (mention "Très Bien à l'Unanimité"), I have continued to practice the instrument consistently. For five years now, I have been working diligently on my piano skills to achieve the highest level possible.
Having played the cello for many years and taught for the past several, I have a purely classical background but have had the opportunity to explore other repertoires, such as film music. My primary goal is to ensure that the student has an enjoyable experience and feels proud of themselves, while providing the best possible guidance to help them become an accomplished musician. I adapt my teaching to each student's needs by incorporating music theory practice when necessary, for example, so they can achieve their full potential. I use the Odile Bourrin method, but I am happy to adapt to other existing methods as well.
