Education

  • Formation musicale — Conservatoire de musique, danse et art dramatique en France, Intercommunal Conservatory of Music (France) (2019)

About

Originally from the Paris region, I’ve been singing for nearly 15 years and teaching professionally since 2019, first in France and now in Montreal. I spent several years with Melody Gospel, first as a tenor choir member and later as a soloist, gaining valuable experience in live performance, interpretation, vocal harmonies, and ensemble singing. From 2015 to 2019, I trained with Laura Marin, an artist, singer, and actress, and Jean-Fernand Setti, a classical singer. From 2018 to 2019, I continued my training with them at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Intercommunal de Musique, Danse et Théâtre de Limeil-Brévannes, where my studies included classical voice, contemporary music, and the Young Singers Workshop. I also took part in jazz, Motown, and rock workshops, giving me experience across a wide range of musical styles. Since 2019, I’ve worked with hundreds of singers of all levels, both in private lessons and group workshops. In France, I served as a lead voice teacher at a music school, where I created and directed a choir and prepared my students for concerts, auditions, and competitions. As a vocal coach, I’ve also worked on a variety of artistic projects, including with Amandine Porchet, a member of Les Soignantes, the vocal group that reached the finals of La France a un incroyable talent (France’s Got Talent) in 2023. What I find most rewarding about teaching is seeing each student discover new possibilities, grow in confidence, and develop what makes them unique as a singer. Helping my students unlock their potential while expressing their own individuality is what gives my work as a teacher its purpose. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of voices, personalities, and musical backgrounds. This diversity has shaped who I am as a teacher and allows me to work across a broad range of musical styles and repertoire. I teach in Montreal in both French and English.

What You'll Learn

“Singing is about having the courage to try, make mistakes, try again, and discover that you’re capable of more than you ever imagined.” That’s the spirit behind my lessons. We’ll work on vocal technique, pitch accuracy, vocal registers, and developing your voice, as well as interpretation, harmonies, and stage presence, depending on your interests and goals. To me, technique is first and foremost a tool that serves the music, your expression, and the joy of singing. Because everyone learns differently, I adapt my approach to each student. Whether through physical sensations, imagery, movement, visualization, or more technical explanations, I explore different ways of helping you understand and experience your voice so we can find what works best for you and help you sing with greater freedom. I also place a strong emphasis on the mental side of singing. Confidence, letting go, and pushing yourself beyond what you thought you could do are all part of my approach. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable experimenting, gradually stepping outside your comfort zone, and challenging yourself. Lessons are built around you, your musical tastes, and your goals. Whether you want to sing simply for the joy of it, develop your technique, work on your favorite songs, or prepare for an audition, competition, or performance, we’ll move at your pace while helping you develop your own way of singing and feel confident taking your place as a s
