Hello! My name is Alain, I am 20 years old and I come from the Gatineau region, where I completed a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in music at the Conservatoire de Musique de Gatineau under the tutelage of Patrick Roux. My passion for music has stayed with me my entire life, and even though I am currently at Université Laval in Quebec City studying physiotherapy, I remain firmly rooted in the beautiful world of music. I hope to pass on the knowledge gained from my stage experiences (concerts, competitions, and performance contracts) and share some wonderful moments with you while chatting about music! Despite my classical training, I always take great pleasure in exploring and appreciating other musical genres, such as jazz. That being said, my teaching skills are primarily focused on classical music performance—musicality, phrasing, harmonic understanding, and classical technique. Looking forward to meeting you!

* Approach centered on developing a solid technical foundation with an emphasis on posture and relaxation * 25% of the lesson will be dedicated to technique: scales, arpeggios, slurs, voicing exercises, etc. (tailored to the student's needs) * Great flexibility regarding the repertoire the student chooses to work on.
