I have been teaching for the past 16 years, in 4 different countries, both privately and in schools, all ages and levels. I greatly enjoy setting up beginners students, but also teaching students who have come to me from another teacher. Many times, those students have been disenchanted, and I love the challenge of rekindling their love for the instrument. My main focus is finding a good balance between a solid technical foundation and a strong sense of musical style.
I love introducing concepts from my Early Music training to my students, regardless of age or level, which they all have great fun with.
More than one student has described me as the perfect combination of strict and fun, so I guess it’s true!
