Trombone Lessons:
All Levels: Tenor and Bass Trombone
I hold a strong belief that music should be accessible to everyone, no matter age, background, etc. I recognize there are many reason students choose to study music, whether that be for fun only, self-betterment and self-accomplishment, or competitively.
I believe the teacher’s role in this, is to teach the student to learn how to teach themselves and therefore eventually be able to recognize and reflect on positives and negatives in their musicianship without their teacher having to tell them, so their learning continues throughout the week, not just in the room with their teacher.
I follow the Arnold Jacobs’ Song and Wind doctrine of teaching; that the importance of breath and singing in your head while you play paves the way for all technique to develop.
