Teaching Approach and Lesson Topics:

My goal is to help you find your voice and your path in music. I want to help you play your instrument to your fullest potential so that you can achieve your music goals. I believe that learning is improved when topics are tailored to the students interests and I make sure to use my students interests to keep them engaged in learning while also teaching them the important fundamentals of the instrument.

To do this, I focus on these aspects:

  • Working on technique and theory
  • Experimenting with ideas on the instrument in a creative way – Learning music YOU are interested in
  • Have fun making music

Education:

  • McGill University – Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance (Currently Studying)
  • Vanier College – DEC in Professional Techniques of Music and Song (Class of 2020)
