Teaching Approach and Lesson Topics:
I encourage students to have confidence, through technical knowledge and exploration of repertoire that they love and aspire to play
- I teach ear training, sight reading, theory, pieces, songs, general musical knowledge and composition
- I prepare students for exams, recitals, talent shows, musical theatre performances, or just to have fun and play for their family and friends
Vocal Students: breathing techniques, posture, upper palette work, connecting with breath/support, accessing their full range and projection
Piano Students: scales, Hanon, playing by ear, articulation, style, hand position and posture

Classical Piano Major –University of Toronto
A.R.C.T. –Royal Conservatory of Music — Toronto
Nicole is a pianist, vocalist and songwriter, with 18 years of teaching, and 30 years of playing, experience. She is always eager to help people learn whatever music they are interested in. She can provide structured instruction, as well as lessons that are just for fun and exploration.
Nicole offers at-home lessons in the following locations:
Bradford, Newmarket, Aurora, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Maple, Holland Marsh, East and West Gwillimbury, Woodbridge
* an additional 10$/per lesson add-on is charged for transportation.
