I develop my teaching method based on each student’s individual abilities and objectives to ensure that they can learn the instrument with the utmost enjoyment, but still be able to achieve their goals at the same time.
With my experience in piano performance and education in music pedagogy, I provide my students with the most useful strategies and knowledges while working closely with their parents in order to create an effective and pleasant learning experience for the students, in class as well as in their personal practice at home.

Quang Nguyen has performed in many international concerts held in China, Vietnam, Italy, Canada and the U.S.A.
In 2015, he performed at the Autumn Festival held at Saigon Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
In 2016, Quang performed at the Zipper Hall of Colburn School of Music in Los Angeles, U.S.A. Quang also performed two concerts playing Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto with conductor Honna Tetsuji and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra at the Grand Concert Hall of Vietnam National Academy of Music, and with conductor Nguyen Thieu Hoa and the Vietnam Orchestra of Opera and Ballet at the Hanoi Opera House, Vietnam.
In 2019, Quang performed Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor under the baton of conductor Tran Vuong Thach and the Saigon Symphony Orchestra in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Most recently, in 2021, he performed Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with conductor Honna Tetsuji and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra at Hanoi Opera House, Vietnam.
Quang has also participated and won prizes in many international music competitions, in which includes First Prize at the Val Tildone Competition in Piacenza, Italy in 2012.
In 2015, Quang also won First Prize as well as prizes for Best Vietnamese Contestant and Best Performance of a Concerto at the 3rd Hanoi International Piano Competition held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
In 2016, Quang won Second Prize at the Lansum International Music Festival held in Los Angeles, U.S.A.
Most recently, in 2020, Quang won First Prize of Open Age Category at the Malaysia Virtual International Music Competition.
Quang Nguyen (Nguyen Dang Quang) was born in a family of music traditions. At the age of 9, Quang started his first piano lessons with his teacher and grandmother, Prof. Tran Thu Ha, before entering as a student of the Piano Faculty at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
In 2016, Quang graduated the 9-year pre-college program with excellency. From 2017 to 2020, Quang completed his undergraduate program with a full scholarship, major in classical piano performance at the University of Montreal, Canada, under the guidance of pianist and Winner of the Chopin Piano Competition, Prof. Dang Thai Son.
Currently, Quang continues his studies at the University of Montreal as a first-year master’s student in the studio of Prof. Jean Saulnier.
