My approach to teaching utilizes a blend of focussed technique and artistic exploration. I believe that with good technique, you can play what you want when you want. As a teacher, I aim to get students to master the physical aspect of playing an instrument with fun, practical and musical exercises. Parallel to technique, together, we’ll look at songs the student wants to learn. For advanced students, we’ll look at what I believe to be the best studies for a working musician.

I’ve been a bass player around Montreal and Toronto for over 10 years. My joy has been playing with artists from various styles and backgrounds – from Indie Rock to Hip-Hop and Jazz to Metal. I love it all!
