I believe that learning music must be done with a good balance of technique, theory and instinct. Learning must above all be fun. I can teach basic techniques as well as advanced techniques to electric bass and double bass.

Education:

I have been an active musician on the Montreal music scene for the past ten years, particularly on the indie-pop and jazz scene. I studied at Cégep Marie-Victorin and then at McGill in Jazz Performance. I’m starting my master’s degree in Jazz Performance at McGill this fall.

Etienne offers at-home lessons in the following locations:

West Island, Downtown Montreal, other areas just ask.
